Sin

"Come now, let us settle the matter," says the LORD.
"Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool."

Isaiah 1:18

Sin is simply our faulty thinking and feeling on behalf of the one we assume ourself to be.

Unbroken peace of mind in daily living, independent of circumstances, is available for the human being in this life!

Sin = missing the mark (correctable).

Repentance = 180º degree change of perspective.

Suffering = attitudinal psychological blame, shame, guilt, pride, expectation, attachment to outcome; erroneous sense of doership.

I AM = the simple and unadulterated sense I exist, here and now. The Christian name of God.

God = Love, life-giving Spirit.

Tip: sharpen your discernment between pleasure and happiness/peace.

Pleasure is dependent on circumstances, out of our control. Pleasure and pain are the flow of 'this world', based on preferences.

Happiness is the absence of suffering; happiness is independent of circumstances ! Too good to be true?

Listen, I tell you a mystery: We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed— in an instant, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed. For the perishable must be clothed with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality.…

1 Corinthians 15:51-53

dead = unaware of our true nature, seemingly separated from the core of Being/Life.

Identified as a separate-self that needs to defend and struggle to survive; whereas the opposite is true:

The more we relax our false sense of me/doership, the easier it is to admit, embrace and enjoy the benevolent Presence and guidance of Life.
