Thinking Limitations

The spiritual, however, was not first, but the natural, and then the spiritual. The first man was of the dust of the earth, the second man from heaven. As was the earthly man, so also are those who are of the earth; and as is the heavenly man, so also are those who are of heaven.…

1 Corinthians 15:47

So from now on we regard no one according to the flesh. Although we once regarded Christ in this way, we do so no longer. Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away. Behold, the new has come!…

2 Corinthians 5:16

How do you read scripture?

Who is reading scripture?

Are you aware that you rush over words instead to wonder, pause and ponder?

It is such an arrogance on our side towards the gift of scripture and Life.

God's creation is perfect, here and now.

It is me who repents -- examining my perspective -- and effortlessly wakes up to "I am".

(After uncounted tears, and a lifetime of frustrations and depressions.)

How dare you!

Why are we so intimidated by your own suffering in the form of shame, guilt, blame, pride, expectations, attachment?

When do we finally pause, understand and admit that what are really longing for is peace of mind in daily living, independent of circumstances.

Nothing to hide

You are the one spoken of in scripture, but due to fear and a stubbornness in thinking you don't hear the words.

The bible is not about an unfoldment in time, but seeing God's perfect creation, here and now, beyond time and space.

Good, bad and indifferent

Believing and hoping is needed to get started, but keeps us stuck in the dust of the Earth -- our own mental and emotional confetti .

Knowing the truth -- that which never changes in us -- sets us free as the second man from heaven.

Subtle, effortless, humbling.

What just happened?

What to do? How to be!

Rejoice, do what needs to be done, meditate, take the pain of being honest to yourself; get back to scripture as if it were the first time!

Write down the words you don't fully understand... Feel yourself, be gentle, vulnerable and open; learn to say yes and no!

Life is not what we think it is, it is perfect beyond words.
